As far as the instant pot is concerned, we can easily wash it in our Best dishwasher. Washing dishes with the dishwasher is incredibly easy. But before washing it, there are some things to consider.
Cleaning the Steel Inner Pot
The interior of this instant pot is very durable due to being stainless steel. The whole inside is, therefore, more secure. You can put it on the lower rack to wash it.
Non-basic cleaners can be used to remove stains in dishes that are dirtier. You can also fill it with a cup of vinegar, then let it soak for five minutes. One thing you must take care of is to keep the inner pot completely dry before you place it inside the base.
The heavier lids will be completely safe in the rack above the dishwasher. In addition, anti-block seals, float valve parts, and pressure release knobs can be placed in the dishwasher, but it is best to wash them by hand as they are small in size.
How to remove the lid part:
Anti-block shield: There is a round metal part under the lid that will hold the edge of the lid use your thumbs to pop it off.
Float Valve: This is the part that falls down when your vessel gets instant pressure. All you have to do is remove the silicone cap from the bottom and then let it slip.
Pressure release knob: The knob on the top of the lid that you change from “ceiling” to “venting”. It is not removable on all models. But it is better for you to wash it by hand.
Use the rack above the dishwasher for deep cleaning inside the dishwasher after removing all small parts. The most important thing is that you put it back on the base before it dries completely.
You need to keep the lid upside down to keep your instant pot clean.
Sealing ring cleaning
Inside the lid is a circle of silicone called a “seal ring”. Instant Pot personally suggests that you change the cell in 12-18 months. But it’s up to you how much you use it. It is also recommended to use it separately for desserts and sweets so that the odor is not transmitted.
It is very easy to remove. You can easily wash it with your hands or use the top rack of the dishwasher to wash it. If you remove it completely, then it has got a much better cleaning.
You must know that it must be dry before placing it elsewhere.
Condensation Collector Cleaning
Little do you know that when you turn your instant pot, you will see a clear plastic cup behind it. All the thickness accumulates in this cup and it comes out when you are driving. Sometimes you may not even know it is there, but it is not. But now it is the most comprehensive.
Just slide it and toss it in the top rack of your dishwasher. Occasionally, you may need to use a fine toothbrush – or a scrub brush to deal with built-up grime.
To do this, slide it and place it in a rack on top of your dishwasher for cleaning. Sometimes you have to use fine teeth for this. Or you may need a scrub brush to deal with the ups and downs.
There is no special place for the cooker in the dishwasher, which is a great pity. Nor can you immerse it in water because it is not waterproof.
The first thing you use your old cooker for is a steel chamber with valves that you can sting to your heart’s content. Instant Pot uses a sophisticated electronic control panel.
Clean the instant pot with a damp or dry cloth. Do not use this damp cloth or cleaning solvent. You should use a slightly damp, soft cloth to clean it from the inside.
