UCLA signs men's basketball coach Mick Cronin to 6-year contract

The contract will run for the 2017-28 season

Cronin was named coach of UCLA in 2019

He led the Bruins to a back-to-back 20-plus win in two years

The Bruins eventually lost to Gonzaga 93-90

"I believe we have created a culture of success and competitive greatness at UCLA," Cronin said in a statement

The announcement comes as UCLA prepares to play in its second consecutive NCAA Tournament
